Diego and Dora working on their ground manners.

Chip guarding his friend Belle.
Last summer we had to take Echo to the University of Columbia Vet School. He was colicing and needed immediate care. He spent three nights away from the barn to find out that he had massive ulcers due to his horrific, negligent past. Although his medical treatment was very expensive, we are happy to report that Echo is doing great.

The dentist made a visit to QUEST. Ania had to have a tooth pulled and several of the other horses had dental work done as well. The horses first needed to be sedated and then a contraption called a mouth gag is used to keep their mouth open while the dentist does her work. Most of the horses just got their teeth floated. Tooth floating is when the small points on the teeth are sanded down. All of the horses behaved really well!
