Quest attended the first annual Pet Expo
that was
held at the Oakley Lindsey Civic Center. We
brought our therapy horse "Ania" and Becky Prunty
brought her Miniature horse "Little Man". Our
informational booth included a video presentation
created by Lusage Marketing and Our Power Point
presentation showed visitors what our therapy
sessions look like as well as some of the volunteer
opportunities. Becky created a display board listing
the rescued horses and the ones we use for therapy.
We had a coloring station with horse themed pages.
Abigail and Courtni offered a fun guessing game.
"Guess the Miniature's Registered Name". Becky had
Little Man available for "Dress a Pony" and for
$2.00 visitors could choose from a variety of dress
up clothes and pretty up Little Man. and last by not
least our most popular event... "Hand Print on a
Horse". For a $2.00 donation visitors could dip
their hand in paint (non-toxic and completely safe
for Ania- I am a little overprotective of her) and
place their colored hand print on her. Quest staff
was always in attendance to ensure safety for both
Ania and the visitor. We had a great time and and
enjoyed the wonderful opportunity to meet and visit
with everyone. I cannot thank everyone enough for
all their hard work. Quest is a team organization.
It has taken all of us coming together to create
this wonderful organization.

Quest - very
first fund raiser!!! On May 23rd we held our
first annual Rummage for hay - garage sale.
Thanks to the many thoughtful donors who
cleaned out their closets and donated their
items to our sale. We were able to raise
$1293.00. We are planning another garage
sale to hopefully sell very nice items that
we still have. All clothing that did not
sell was donated to the Salvation Army and
some of the other large items that were too
hard to move were donated to a local boy
scout troop garage sale. Many thanks to
everyone that worked countless hours to make
our sale a huge success and also a big thank
you to all of the wonderful people who
donated items or purchased items that day.
